Trademarks - Trilateral List
of Identification Manual Project.

The Japan Patent Office (JPO), the United States Patent
and Trademark Office (USPTO), and the Office for Harmonization
in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs) (OHIM)
have been carrying out the “Trilateral Identification
Manual Project” to review acceptable English identifications
of goods and services for the three offices in order
to decrease the burden of applicants obtaining trademark
rights.
Consequently, the offices have agreed
on approximately 7,000 acceptable English identifications
and made a list including the acceptable identifications.
