- World Intellectual Property Day: Green Innovation

Innovation as a way
to save the planet: this is this year's World Intellectual
Property Day theme.
The World Intellectual
Property Organization (WIPO) Director General highlights
in his IP Day message that despite being responsible
for the Earth's current endangered situation, human
activity can too find solutions to help restore the
delicate balance between the environment and men.
This is where the
contribution of an effective intellectual property system
comes into place, through which Green Innovation, e.g.,
the creation, diffusion and application of clean technologies,
the design of eco-friendly products and registry of
trademarks that care about the environment, is made
possible. Human creativity is the best tool to move
forward, past the grey technologies and into the Green
Innovation of the future.
ABREU MERKL
celebrates the World IP Day with a green edition of
its Infomail, which is completing 4 years of circulation
in its 25th edition.
