4. Privacy Policy

4.1. ABREU, MERKL’s Privacy Policy was developed in order to show its commitment to the personal information received by the office from our Users. Therefore, all the personal information that is sent by the Users will be protected according to the conditions hereby established and strict standards of confidentiality, and will only be used for the purposes to which they were collected.

4.2. Only ABREU, MERKL’s Site registered Users may have access to its restricted area. All the information contained in this restricted area can only be used by Users registered in the Site in order to interact with ABREU, MERKL. It is strictly forbidden the disclosure of said information to third parties - unless it constitutes a property of the Site’s registered User. The User also agrees not to transmit or reveal his password to third parties.

4.3. All the data which is provided by the Users in the forms found in the Site are their exclusive responsibility. The User also pledges to provide true data and acknowledges that ABREU, MERKL may use it. Any damage that may be caused to ABREU, MERKL due to lack of veracity of the data will be the User’s responsibility, whom shall be held responsible to indemnify ABREU, MERKL.

4.4. Material of a merely informative nature, such as news publications, that is sent to ABREU, MERKL by e-mail or through this Site, excepting the provided in item 4.1, shall be considered non-confidential. ABREU, MERKL shall in no way have any kind of obligation to such material and will feel free to reproduce, use, disclose, show, transform or distribute it to third parties, as well as create derivates, without any limitation.

4.5. ABREU, MERKL shall feel free to use, for whatever purpose, any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such information. The User guarantees that such materials and information are suitable to be published and agrees to indemnify ABREU, MERKL in case a third party proceeds to complain against ABREU, MERKL in regards to those materials and information.

4.6. Cookies (data files sent to the User’s computer hard drive in order to identify his/her patterns of use) can be present in some areas of ABREU, MERKL’s Site aiming to identify Users’ patterns of use. If the User prefers not to receive cookies, he will be able to configure his navigator to send a warning message to be able to refuse them whenever the navigator warns about the presence of said files. The User will also be able to refuse all Cookies by turning them off in the navigator.
