The Rede de Ação Voluntária Coração em Ação (Heart in Action - Voluntary Work Net), established in the city of Curitiba since 1999, has the objective to help those in need, having as a priority to give human beings a better life.
Acting as a bridge between those who wish to help and those who need help, the Rede de Ação Voluntária Coração em Ação counts on the active participation of ABREU, MERKL, which has been partnering with Heart in Action as a “friend company” since the beginning of this social assistance net.

Aiming to help the young to dream and believe in the realization of their dreams, we will once again substitute the holiday cards for a donation. This year, ABREU, MERKL will provide access to culture to unprivileged youngsters, offering them the opportunity to go to cultural outings such as the cinema, the theater, among others.

The results will be reported here at the end of the campaign.

To wrap up the year of Sustainable Intellectual Property, we got into action to collaborate with the planet! Following our tradition, in 2010 we substituted the holiday cards for the donation of 650 seedlings of native tree species to Curitiba’s Town Hall Department of Vegetal Production – Municipal Plant Nursery.

The entity will use the seedlings for the recovery of degraded areas, for restoring of riparian forests and replacement in public areas in order to provide for the population’s well being, environment equilibrium and shelter and feed for the fauna.

The donation’s delivery was formalized with the symbolic planting of seedlings, on ABREU, MERKL’s site, by the representative of the Barreirinha’s Municipal Plant Nursery, county of Curitiba.
