International Congress on Intellectual Property
With a record turn
up of over 700 attendees, the 30th edition of the International
Congress on Intellectual Property of the Brazilian National
Association of Intellectual Property – ABPI took
place between 22-24.Aug.2010, in the capital city of
São Paulo. Under the theme “Intellectual
Property as a Business Strategy”, the participants
benefited from three days of plenary sessions, panels
and debates on the most relevant issues to the current
scenario of intellectual property.
The Attorney-at-Law and Industrial Property Agent,
Maria Inez A. de Abreu, attended the Congress representing
ABREU, MERKL, which was one of the sponsors of the event’s
Gala Dinner and offered as a gift to all guests its
latest publication entitled “Brazilian Industrial
Property Law Bilingual Portuguese-English”, whose
translation is of Ms Cintia Haschich authorship and
revision by the Attorney-at-Law and Industrial Property
Agent, Marcio Merkl, both from ABREU, MERKL.
